Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer Mechanical with strong US and/or Canada project experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical engineering background, over 10 years of hands-on experience, and proven ability to work as a technical lead. This role requires deep engineering knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to guide teams and contractors to successful project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as the HVAC system expert for projects, providing technical guidance and decision-making support.

• Lead and review mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.

• Actively delivering the project including work on project design calculations, drawings and software's.

• Provide technical oversight and direction to contractors, vendors, and internal teams

• Ensure compliance with US and Canadian codes, standards, and best practices

• Support project execution by resolving complex mechanical engineering issues

• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and client discussions

• Mentor junior engineers and support team capability development

• Review and approve technical documents, engineering changes, and project deliverables

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, construction, procurement, QA/QC)

  
  Necessary Requirement
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree Mechanical engineering background

• 10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience

• Strong experience working on US and/or Canada-based projects

• Proven experience in a lead or senior engineering role

• Experience in software and codes - HAP, Trace 700, Energy Pro, RHVAC, COMcheck, Revit, AutoCAD, ASHRAE and other International Mechanical codes & International Energy Conservation codes

• Hands-on experience working with contractors and third-party engineering teams

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems specially HVAC system, design principles, and industry standards

• Plumbing Knowledge is added advantage
